Road Scholar/Elderhostel is the premier provider of international and domestic educational/travel programs for the mature travel market. Such adventures include shipboard programs through the Amazon or the Mediterranean Sea, studying the history of the Hopi Indians in Arizona, or exploring Africa's wild frontier on an educational safari. Road Scholar/Elderhostel offers Fall, Spring and Summer internships for applicants in their junior or senior year in an accredited college or university. Students earn first-hand experience in the areas of marketing, educational program management, outreach, fundraising, human resources, financial and administrative responsibilities. Although unpaid, an internship at Road Scholar/Elderhostel is a great way to fulfill your college internship requirements, receive academic credit and on-the-job experience, build your resume and be introduced to potential networking opportunities in your field of interest.
