PUSHING THE FRONTIERS OF SCIENCE
In this series of lectures, Williams College science faculty discussed
areas of their research that are expanding the frontiers of Chemistry
and Biology.
September 13 & 20 – Polymeric Materials for Drug Delivery
A discussion of the use of polymeric materials in drug delivery applications;
highlighting design considerations, synthetic strategies and material
properties of research as well as other current examples of delivery
vehicles.
September 27 & October 4 – Dealing with the Obesity Epidemic
An exploration of the various issues around this topic, including medical
and economic consequences and how to address this epidemic, medically
and socially.
October 11 & 18 – Nanoscale Structures
A discussion of the strategies for designing molecular scale wires for
use in nanoscale structures.
