FOUNDERS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Academy for Lifelong Learning on Cape Cod in Massachusetts recently
awarded the first A.L.L. Founders Memorial Scholarship created by the
Board of Directors this past year. The recipient, an older adult returning
to school, will use the award to fulfill her science requirements, enabling
her to complete her degree at the end of the fall semester.
NEW MEMBERSHIP HIGH
Congratulations to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University
of Southern Maine in Portland. They are experiencing an all-time high
in membership this fall. They have 956 people enrolled which is about
100 more than they expected. Well done, OLLI.
