FIRST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED
Congratulations to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University
of N. Florida in Jacksonville. They celebrated their first anniversary
in September with a gala Open House/Social event where they were updated
on the status of the program’s first year and also learned about
upcoming courses. The joke on campus is that UNF means “You never
finish,” and OLLI members are the personification of that expression
because they do indeed never want to finish. They continue to learn,
discover and challenge themselves and in the process enjoy every minute
of their lives.
LATEST ISSUE OF VOICES
Congratulations to the Institute for Retired Professionals at the New
School in New York City. Last month they released their latest issue
of “Voices” at a special reception. “Voices”
is a special program to honor and support the creative efforts of the
members. Copies of the latest edition were given to all the members
who attended the reception.
