AN OLLI SUCCESS STORY
Congratulations to Esther Gilbert, a 92 year-old member of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Esther began writing her life’s story in the OLLI course, Writing Your Memoirs. With the kind assistance of classmates, her story is now published into a book, High Notes and Low, Recollections of a Musical Career. OLLI sponsored a reception and book-signing in Esther’s honor in March, and she has been interviewed on the radio and in the local newspaper.
