OLLI RUTGERS UNIVERSITY WINS ENDOWMENT
Congratulations to the Olsher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rutgers University.
They were just awarded a $1million endowment from the Bernard Osher Foundation.
Under the leadership of Marvin Schlaffer, the program has grown from one
location to three. Well done!

Congratulations to three members of the Lifelong Learning Institute
at Bard College in New York who have written books. Sara Hardman
is awaiting publication of her new book about bringing an adopted baby
home in the first year of life. Sara and her partner have written on
issues related to attachment and adoption. Congratulations!
Jane Dossick has just published her fourth book, “Creative
Therapy: 52 Exercises for Groups and Individuals.” The book, the
latest in a series which is written for mental health practitioners,
is used in Psychology, Social Work and Education courses at both the
graduate and under-graduate level. The series has been published in
several languages and used around the world. Co-authored with Eugene
Shea, the book is a recent Doubleday Behavioral Sciences Book Cub selection.
In the fall of 2006, Roberta Gould celebrated the
publication of a new book of poetry, “Pacing the Wind.”
Roberta began writing poetry when she attended the National University
of Mexico on an exchange scholarship during her college years. She has
been published in Mexico and the US and appears in numerous reviews,
anthologies and chronicles. She is the author of eight books of poetry.
