BARD ANNUALLY AWARDS SIX SCHOLARSHIPS
Every spring, members of the Lifelong Learning Institute at Bard College
in New York gather to honor selected Bard College graduating seniors.
LLI donates $500 for each honoree to assist with their senior projects.
The grants are one of the many ways that LLI strives to give back to Bard
for its generous hospitality and strengthen the ties between the generations.
Well done, LLI!
WISE MEMBERS RECORD NEW CD
Congratulations to Loretta Chabot and Bob Walters from the WISE program
at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. This past year they
recorded a new CD, Schola Gregoriana, Chants of Lent and Eastertide
2006, in the chapel at Assumption College. Loretta and Bob belong
to a lay music ministry, which is dedicated to bringing the traditional
chant of Roman Liturgy into today’s worship.
