Elderhostel co-founder David Bianco will join James Moses, Elderhostel’s
President and CEO and many staff and supporters to celebrate with
the group. Dr. Paul Nussbaum, a noted author and expert in neuropsychology,
will discuss the latest trends in brain health and successful aging.
Founded in 1975, Elderhostel is the world’s largest provider
of lifelong learning programs for adults age 55 and over. Each year,
approximately 170,000 people participate in Elderhostel’s
nearly 8,000 programs throughout the United States and Canada and
in more than 90 countries around the world. The organization has
played a substantial role in breaking stereotypes about aging, especially
in the areas of older adults’ ability and desire to learn.
In 2004, Elderhostel launched Road Scholar, an innovative educational
adventure program for adults of all ages.
