CHICAGO, June 14 –Elderhostel, the world’s largest non-profit educational
travel organization for older adults, announces the latest in its yearlong
series of 30th Anniversary celebrations, a Day of Discovery program at
the famed Field Museum in Chicago, capped by a festive anniversary dinner
inside the museum. This once in a lifetime opportunity takes place on
June 29 for $175 per person.
The program, beginning at 11:00 a.m., provides inside access to the Field
Museum’s Dinosaur Dynasty: Discoveries from China exhibit.
The 30th Anniversary celebration, highlighting the Elderhostel Year of
the Instructor, begins after the Day of Discovery concludes, at approximately
6:00 p.m. Many of Elderhostel’s Chicago instructors, other exceptional
scholars and local experts will be attending the gala.
| James Moses, Elderhostel’s President

are essential to the success of our mission of lifelong learning,”
said Moses. “Their knowledge and their ability to enliven a
